Jacks and the Fourth Wall

A jester in a Shakespearean-style comedy is punched through the fourth wall. Relying on help from the audience, dramatic conventions, his newly-discovered directorial powers and a gratuitous amount of wit, he tries to hijack the play to make himself the romantic lead. Can he escape the role he was cast in and win the love of a princess, or is he doomed to be a supporting player forever?

My full-length play, Jacks and the Fourth Wall, has been produced by four different theater companies across New York since its debut in 2013. If you’re interested in performing Jacks at your venue, please reach out via the contact form on the home page!

Twilight Storytellers: Sunrise

Long before the events of Twilight: Breaking Dawn, Benjamin and Tia reunite for the first time since Benjamin became a vampire. As they walk through the streets of Suez, they reflect on their shared childhood: the night Benjamin started a fire to keep Tia warm, allowing his uncle to discover his ability and the day he performed tricks while Tia picked the pockets of his distracted audience. They promised to run away together while counting their stolen coins. At sunrise, they fulfill that promise at last.

I wrote this screenplay for the Tongal Twilight Storytellers Contest, and it was one of the six winning screenplays that were turned into canonical short films. Sunrise was produced by Miraworld and debuted on Facebook Watch.

The Deathless Dracono Forrester

Dracono is no chosen one—he’s just a fast-talking pansexual con man who was in the wrong place at the wrong time. But if an empire in the sky tells you you’re the only one who can kill a dragon and save the world, you don’t say no…you ask what’s in it for you. I’m currently seeking agent representation for this irreverent fantasy novel.

Pact Breaker

A YA space opera/school days romcom best described as The Expanse meets The Breakfast Club, featuring an enemies-to-lovers romance between two prickly roommates on an intergalactic mission of peace. I’m currently revising this project.
